Quick update on my smile tru invisible aligners from Martina Collins Dental. I'm now on my 3rd set of alligners, my last visit to Martina was my favourite so far as she was able to show me how exactly my teeth will progress over the next few months with pre made moulds (pics below).
So these are moulds of what my teeth will look like after four aligners and then after five, I find it so crazy that they're able to predict exactly what they'll look like but it definitely makes the experience so much more exciting as you have a visual to look forward to. I didn't really realise how out of shape my teeth were until I've seen these moulds, I can't wait to share my before and after pic!
Also I want to note that on my last visit I was suffering from a tooth ache and Martina was able to cut my aligner so it wouldn't irritate the tooth until I got it fixed- this is what I mean about the personal experience, she really does go above and beyond to cater to each patient, and aims to put the comfort of her patients at the forefront of all her treatments- I really couldn't recommend Martina and her team more.
I got my most recent set of aligners a few weeks ago just before I headed to Australia, I was a bit worried about discomfort on the long flight with adjusting to the new aligners, I can honestly say there was no pain at all and my teeth settled into this set 10 times faster than the first. Which was never the case with having actual train track braces tightened, the pain was just as bad every time so I think I've definitely made the right choice with SmileTru!
